The ERA operates the four tennis courts on the Eastbury Recreation Ground adjacent to Batchworth Lane. Residents who wish to use this amenity pay an additional subscription per household plus a refundable key deposit.

ANYONE FOR TENNIS?

Northwood Lawn Tennis Club
Northwood LTC, located in Pines Close, off Frithwood Avenue, has been providing tennis facilities since 1901. It is a friendly club with a variety of standards of play among its members. The club has:-
- four artificial turf courts, all floodlit
- social tennis sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons and Sundays
- mens, ladies and mixed teams in various local and Hertfordshire county Leagues both summer and winter
- Wednesday roll up and play for beginners and intermediates
- pavilion with facilities including: kitchen, bar, games room, and changing rooms with showers
- Saturday morning allocated to juniors
- played up juniors welcome at club sessions
- a club coach who organises junior and senior group sessions as well as individual coaching
- monthly socials at the club
From 1 April 2012 the subscription for single membership is £280, £50 for junior membership and £30 for mini-members with deals for couples, families, midweek and social members.
